Family Favourite Dish – Spaghetti Bolognese

Filed Under (Food, family) by User Imageruzita on 21-05-2008

My kids love spaghetti more than they like rice. This must have something to do during my pregnancy period. I love to eat Deli’s food such as spaghetti, lasagne, mushroom soup and lamb chop. I’m getting good making all those dishes and I’m proud to say that sometimes mine is better that the one that they serve at the restaurant.

Funny thing is my mother in law also know how to make the dish and she’s very good at it. She learn how to do it because she knows all the grandchild love it.

For those who like to make homemade spaghetti, you can follow my recipie.

4 clove of garlic

8 tomato (large size)

4 white onion (normally the amount of onion should be the same with the tomato)

1 stick of Ramly burger mince meet (500 grams)

1 can button mushroom

1 small can tomato puree

1 tblspoon oregano

2 pieces of bay leaves

I packet of spaghetti

Method:

Chop the garlic. Dice the tomato and the onion. Slice the mushroom. Pour oil into the pan/wok enough to cover the onion. Fry the onion and garlic until tender. Put in the mince meet, make sure that it separated . After 2 minutes, put in the dice tomato, slice mushroom and tomato puree. Let the sauce simmer until the tomato is tender for at least 20 minutes. Add a little bit of sugar to get rid of the acidic taste of the tomato. Lastly, put in oregano, bay leave, salt and black pepper for taste. DON”T forget to boil the spaghetti. And make sure it al dante and not to soft. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
